I bought this truck two years ago to restore.It had a worn out old 440 in it with lotsa rust I spent about a year and a half finding rust free parts from down south to california collecting body parts.I bought the frame from California for a solid frame.About a year into the restoration i desided the 440 was impractical to rebuild and impractical to put gas in at about 7 mpg.Then the hunt for a cummins began I found a 1990 w250 that had been rolled.It had almost a 100k on it that would still drive and run,minus the cab roof which was cut off to be able to get in it.I used it 90 for the drivetrain.Now i can drive the powerwagon and get about 18 to twenty on the road i left the stock 307 gears in it and it still has plenty of power on the road.
