Stalwart has other ride profile(s):
1994 Oshkosh M977 HEMTT, lovingly restored by it's prior owner.  It sits on 8 16.00 R 20's and will run down the road at 60 all day long.  35' long and weighs 39,000 lb. empty.

It also has a Raytheon FLIR, forward looking infra-red night vision with monitors for both driver and passenger.  On the roof it has a electronically controlled spotlight that moves 360 degrees, elevates and depresses.  The whole truck is outfitted with LED lighting, including the headlamps.

OH, and did I mention it has a mount for the M2 Ma Deuce 50 cal. heavy machine gun for the passengers general enjoyment, access through a sliding roof panel.

They didn't offer Oshkosh as a make so I just went with AM General.

Naw, it was a real canabalised mess when it left the military.  Much of the truck had to be rebuilt or re-made using crumpled metal as a template.

The guy that I bought it from found it on eBay as a stripped POS.  He spent 2+ years, and many 10's of thousands of dollars to bring it back to near new and in some places better than new.  The Army doesn't surplus these, they all go back to Oshkosh to be rebuilt, even wrecked ones.  A few of us are lucky that a few slipped through the cracks, perhaps about 10 in the US.
