It was supposed to be something i wouldn't modify but that changed quickly.  2.5L turbo diesel, common rail with a Denso HP3 pump.  Stock they make 174hp and 300lb/ft @ the flexplate.  The motor and pump are still untouched.

First thing was to rid the truck of all the exterior chrome trim, the mirrors, grill and rear bumper were color matched to the rest of the truck to smooth out the looks.

First was a 4wd advanced lift from PRG Products which consists of their own upper control arms and radflo/eibach(750/in/lbs) coilovers up front and Bilstein 5125 shocks with Deaver AAL's out back.  To compliment the new heights a set of Toyo OPAT's in 285/75R16 were installed on the stock wheels after they were given a respray in bronze.  I needed a small amount more clearance up front for the tires as they would rub @ full lock so after reading about the DIY 2" body lift on clubfrontier.org, I sourced the materials from a forum member and installed it in about 2 hours.

The new tires killed the acceleration slightly so I decided to do some minor breathing mods.  It started with a K&N drop in filter, an Eng-tek 2.5" downpipe and custom 3" exhaust with a magnaflow resonator.  Mild never suffices for long and after a while I decided to ditch the factory Garrett GT2056V in favor of a GT2860 with a 0.64 A/R turbine housing.  To keep tabs on the new setup I used boost and egt gauges from Defi in a custom pod above the radio.  With the air taken care of I have a DP chip ordered and awaiting arrival.

The truck also has a custom tow hitch receiver, DIY bedliner, 6000k HID headlights, 6500k HID fog lights and a decent stereo; Pioneer 6950 HU, Pioneer GM6200 4ch amp powering Infinity Kappa 6x9's and separate tweeters (in factory location) up front and Pioneer D series 6.5 coaxials in the rear doors, Pioneer GM7300 mono amp powering a pair of Pioneer shallow mount 8" subs behind the rear seat.

It is factory..i have a Navara not a Frontier, its a YD25DDTi Nissan motor from factory, just not in the US

go on www.nissan.com.au  or www.nissan.co.uk for more info in english about it.  My model does not have all the emmissions equipment that the Aus and UK ones do though.
