About my Silverado

This is Valley Truck and Off Road's own 1986 Chevy Silverado with a 12v Cummins swap, fire ringed, running twin compounding turbos set for 90+ lb of boost.  For a transmission it is running a 10 speed road ranger with a twin disk clutch, a Rockwell, T-Case 1550 U Joints and a Dana 80 out back.  To complement all this we have installed a 140 gal fuel tank for long hauls, 5" exhaust with pneumatic exhaust brake, with a 135psi on board air system to support it. All this is riding on a 10" lift and 19.5" wheels.

i really like the old chevy body style it looks really nice and the only thing that i thought looked a little bit wierd is the exhaust brake that you can see at the back but that is also sweet the 140 gaalon fuel tank that is massive. do you ever have issues with u joint failure because of putting the u joint at such a great angle? like the the truck overall probably a 8.5 out of 10... but the reason being is that i would have put about half as much lift as you have...but its your truck and you do what you want with it.

ten speed trany is the *** woulda been even better if you woulda went with a duramax engine and done all the same mods
